Transitions

    This video was shot Saturday January 8th 2011 at Transitions Ramp Park in Dearborn Heights Michigan. I really think the name of the park and title of this video relate a lot to everything that is going on in my life right now. I just started school and I have left my job. A lot of new things are happening whether they are good are bad is yet to be seen but for now they are only what they are. Transitions.

The New Deal

"The New Deal is a series of economic programs implemented in the United States between 1933 and 1936. They were passed by the U.S. Congress during the first term of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President of the United States, from 1933 to 1936. The programs were responses to the Great Depression, and focused on what historians call the "3 Rs": relief, recovery and reform. That is, relief for the unemployed and poor; recovery of the economy to normal levels; and reform of the financial system to prevent a repeat depression."

    This definition of the the New Deal and what it stands for sort of relates to this blog and my endeavors as a freelance graphic designer, photographer and videographer. Not in the literal sense but if you look at it through the eyes of an individual struggling to create a comfortable and non-stressful living for himself.

    What I plan to do with this blog is to let my story be read and graphics, photos and videos be seen. With a story and title behind every graphic, video and photo I hope now I can finally express all fields of my art and work.
